PROTECT

Protect Logo PROTECT is an international cardiology study looking at Dobermanns affected by dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), a disease of the heart muscle. Vetmedin has been shown to have significant benefits in the treatment of DCM once clinical signs develop. This study will investigate the benefit of medicating Dobermanns with asymptomatic DCM to identify whether this medication will increase the time taken for clinical signs to develop, and also prolong overall life expectancy.
